Wednesdays, Oct. 15 and 29, 5:30-7pm
Embroidery slows our sense of time, and is contemplative. It reflects back to us the beauty of our own imagination.
We will design and make samplers, in the style of those done by early New England colonists but with our own contemporary twist. You don't need to have sewn before - Lindsay will guide you. We will start on paper, and then figure out what materials you'll need to get started. And we'll chat, drink tea and be together.
Everyone is welcome. If you're knitting or crocheting and wish to soak up the atmosphere, come and add a few rows to your work.
