This class supports the mindful practice of flow and pause, engaging the dynamics of the foundational principles and asanas. It works from the body inward, to simultaneously open the heart and center the energies. With this knowledge and experience, students can begin to explore more challenging standing poses, arm balances and inversions, and continue to work on deepening their practice. Attention to breath and safe and supportive alignment, coupled with an awareness of the whole body and mind will benefit an all day mindfulness practice and help encourage the arising of happiness and peace. Each class will start and end with a short meditation.
