What is Mindful Self Compassion?
Mindful Self Compassion (MSC), a scientifically researched modern day tool enhanced by traditions of ancient wisdom. MSC combines the skills of mindfulness and self compassion, providing a powerful tool for emotional resilience.
In this practice of repeatedly evoking goodwill toward ourselves, especially when we are suffering, we decrease the power of the inner self critic thus liberating ourselves to experience life more as it truly is, in the present moment. We can all learn how to motivate ourselves with compassion rather than criticism and how to handle emotions with greater ease.
In this introductory talk, Louise will lead you through a couple of MSC practices and explain the Default Mode Network that often causes us suffering. MSC can be learned by everyone!
