This course is for individuals who already have, or want to develop, a serious daily meditation practice and realize their highest goals.
♦ To gain a clear understanding of the ten stages of meditation
♦ To be able to figure out what stage(s) you’re working at and how to most effectively practice.
♦ To develop a consistent meditation practice
♦ To understand the models of mind and the way they can assist your practice.
*Commit to developing a regular and consistent meditation practice for the entire course
*Do the required reading from the book, The Mind Illuminated: A Complete Meditation Guide Integrating Buddhist Wisdom and Brain Science. Available on Amazon: http://goo.gl/iYal2W
*Come to class and attend as many Group Practice (see below) sessions as possible.

There will be a group practice at the Three Jewels on Wednesday nights, when a class is not being offered. This is an opportunity to sit together on a regular basis, to ask questions and share meditative experiences related to the course material. We can learn a lot from each other through sharing our experiences with the course material. The group practice will have senior students there to help guide meditations, clarify points of the teaching and help you with your meditation practice.
