Alexander Technique

With the teacher’s gentle hands on touch and verbal instruction we will work with habits of tension that affect our ability to move with freedom and grace. Since we are doing this workshop at Wisdom’s Heart Middle Way Center, we will focus on sitting balance for meditation. We will also do a lying down technique that brings more awareness to how habitual tension is held in the body and how attention and awareness can help to change it. Please wear loose, comfortable clothing and bring a yoga mat for the lying down work. 

This is a cumulative process and the hands-on work and regular attendance helps the process.
