Zen Priest, Mark Nelson, leads this new offering beginning April 10.
Meditate with friends on the path. Are you starting to explore meditation and what the Buddhist path has to offer? Or, are you a seasoned practitioner? Either way, Sunday Morning Buddhist Meditation is for you. During this time we will focus on two things. We will practice seated meditation together for two periods. Between these meditation periods, we will deepen our understanding of meditation and our skillfulness in meditation by sharing our experiences, raising relevant questions, and engaging one another in conversation about the challenges and joys of this demanding and enriching discipline.
8:30 to 8:50 AM: Basic instruction for beginners (all levels are welcome
9:00 to 9:20 AM: Silent seated meditation
9:20 to 9:40 AM: Facilitated group discussion about meditation practice
9:40 to 10:10 AM: Silent seated meditation
Everyone is welcome to come and go as needed. Of course, please be mindful of others if and when you do.
